I hope you all have returned safely home by now, and that your trips to, from, and at Convention were enjoyable and memorable.
I’m still trying to catch up on my sleep, and relishing the fact that my cell doesn’t ring every 4 minutes any more.
Like most of you, I think that Convention goes too fast, and that we don’t get to sample everything. I regret we didn’t get to see the Sundown Under the Sundial ice cream social, and I regret that I didn’t get to spend much of any time in Upham viewing certamen or creative events, even after I’d spent most of my last month trying to find appropriate rooms for those events. And I certainly regret not being able to hear how the dive-in movie went.
Since I couldn’t get to all those events and more, I’d be interested in your feedback for this year’s Convention. It won’t change this year’s Convention, but it will at least give some amount of feedback for California as they plan for Davis. So let’s hear it:
- What did you think went well at Convention?
- What do you think was not so great?
- What could we have done better?
- And for my benefit, what was your favorite memory of your time in Oxford?

I thought this years convention was AMAZING!!! although the only problems were some scheduling conflicts but im sure those can be taken care of at the fall and spring planning meetings. As for my favorite memory i’d have to say it was walking around campus with my closest convention friends getting people to STAND NOBLY!!!! yes, that was me deal with it

Best food in recent memory. Fewest conflicts. Finally winning first in NJCL certamen again for the first time in five years! I really liked the convention agenda that fit in one’s back pocket. Air conditioning. Decent weather.
